I noticed that there is a lot more noise coming from the air box since I installed the open air kit on my 06XB12Ss. I was wondering if I could put dynamat under neath the upper cover to keep the noise down. Any thoughts on this out there.

As long as it didn't come unstuck and block off the air coming into the filter.
That could cut your ride short.

Just by the seat of my pants feel, I believe its much stronger. I have the new regular Drummer with billet end cap and a race ecm with the open air kit from American Sports bike. I think the hole package makes the bike better to drive and the sound is so cool. I just think you can hear the throttle body noise more with the open air box kit. I was hoping that someone has insulated the top cover for sound deadening.
