Sometimes the stupidity of drivers gets too much for me!!

Was sitting behind a car that could not make up it's mind what speed it wanted to do, so decided to hang back a bit, when out of the driver's window come a pile of ice.
(She, yes it was a she... had finished her take away drink)

Thank goodness for short wheel based Bindy Buell, a slight tip and I was out of the way.

Still shaking my head, but was a nice wake up call to the old rule "Ride like you are invisible"

good to hear bindy acted just as she was designed to, and really glad to hear you didn't take a cup full of ice to the helmet. and you think big bugs hurt that would have been nasty.

Bees like me. I had one get in my helmet once (just a scare, no sting) and back when I rode in t-shirt and jeans, one hit me in the neck and slid down inside my t-shirt to the middle of my chest where it stung me.

That happened to me once...Guy dumped his "Biggie" cup of ice out. I gave him the ol' sarcastic thumbs up when I pulled past, as I do with all mongoloids on our roadways.

I took a gas cap in the chest from the other side of the freeway. ME 75+ gas cap 65+ total impact speed 140mph. It hurt real bad and left a massive bruise.

No time to move

Bee stung in helmet twice in two days. Half my face looked like the elephant boy.

Makes me wonder about riding a cruiser with "Ape hangers"....................

While riding my cruiser (no ape hangers for me). I had a Snow Bee (I not sure if that is their real name, but 2-3 times the size of a normal bee and white), fly in between my glove and the sleeve of my jacket. Driving down the road and my arm goes numb, and my heart starts beating like it is going to explode. I pull over fast, wife hops off the back as I am trying to get my jacket off. I get it off to see 2/3 of the bee crawling up my arm, his back end still stuck where he stung me.. suffice to say now I make sure my gloves are over my cuffs..

I took a tweety bird in the shoulder at 80+,it hurt so bad I had to stop.
Left a HUGE bruise that covered half my chest.
That was the very last time I rode without a jacket.

I took a cup of ice from a cage window once.. Piece sliced open the top of my hand, I was wearing the style of gloves that are 'cool'.. you know, open back.. well that's where I got the slice.

Had a .. Well, I don't know what, hit me in the head once at 60mph. I pulled over woozy and bleeding from the head (yep, I was wearing a 3/4 lid). Took about 10 minutes before I felt ready to ride again..

Been riding with a bee in the bonnet a couple of times. Damn, if those little suckers just wait to sting you in the temple... OW!

Take care.. keep you're eyes open (and covered).. You never know what's going to come flying at ya!
