My first XB9R was a great bike and only left my stranded once out of 29,880 miles of hard riding and having fun. The oil lines rubbed together and one line busted in the Mtns' and lucky for me I had trailered that day.

My new 12R lost about 6 teeth on the belt today with about 14,000+ miles on it. I was on a back road going to the Mtns' I made it to a buddies house about 10 miles from where I was. Ended up loosing 10+ more teeth by the time I made it to his house. He gave me a lift to the house where I had a new belt with tools waiting for me. Its good to have extras...

I was only about 25 miles from the house instead of about 68 in the mtns'

It didn't leave me stranded....

Another good Buell....
