Unbelievable. The UPS guy was here today with the package from DaveS, and it was out of the package and on the bike in 5 mins.

Fantastic. First thing I noticed was that at around 6'4", the seat really conforms to my shape effortlessly. When I sit on the bike, I do not have to adjust. I mean, I swing my leg over and BAM!, I am in the correct riding position. No more cheap hotel syndrome ( No Ballroom ) and looks way better than stock.

Fit is a little off, as the tail section seems to rise up a bit more than stock. I can push it down and it is up maybe a fraction of an inch. Do not notice it when riding.

All in all, a big for all the people who have answered the q's when it came to a seat purchase. Thanks also to DaveS and Appleton HD/Buell for the expedited shipping and for not being pissed when I changed to order out.

BTW, with the seat and dual star mirrors now, the bike looks much better, and the mirrors are set with no vibes and a good view of the road behind. Pix to follow when there is light enough for them.

Put mine on the other day also. Picked it up from a fellow badweathererer.

Notice what you are talking about in the rear with a slight lift. Nothing big though. Very comfortable. Although it's not as aggressive looking as I had thought. Has a very similar line as my stock 03xb9s seat. But all in all, I have a feeling it will make my 3+hr drives more enjoyable.

Mine did the same thing in the back. I just put a little weight on it to click it into place - fits perfectly then.

You're right - the Streetfighter seat is WAY more comfortable than stock!

slightly off topic, Does anyone make a lower seat (a seat that sits you lower on the bike) for the xb12R?
