Jeez, I just spent an hour Google searching this site for a thread that doesn't apparently exist. I was wondering if anyone has any info about the "Reevu" helmet that is supposed to come out in the U.S. now? Has is been postponed? I need to get rid of my old p.o.s. helmet, and would like to at least get one with some type of new and better functionality.

Here is about the only review I could find

Here's a quick note. I've finally managed to give the Reevu helmet {link} and its integrated mirror a test. First of all, I must say, the helmet is very comfortable ! It sits snug and outside vision is excellent. I'm not used to integral helmets, but this one was easy to put on. Sound proofing is very good.

Secondly, the look of the helmet is quite normal. Unless you're up close & personal, you can not even see the mirror system. Very nifty !

And now the mirror system itself:- in fact I was quite disappointed ! The mirror itself is much smaller than seen in the initial photos. However, the vision is crystal clear ! Whatever you see behind you is clear and not at all faded. But, and there's always a but, you need to position the helmet EXACTLY in the right angle to see what's going on behind you.

That, for me this is a disadvantage. When riding you can't just glance in the mirror to see the traffic behind you; you need to angle the helmet in the exact angle to see the street behind. I would have thought that the angle would be far wider, but it isn't. And I'd say if you're on a sports motorcycle, it's even more difficult to get the right angle since you're leaned more towards the front.

I'd say the best use is when you're stopped at a traffic light and you want to be sure no-one bumps into you. But I don't think it's very much of use when riding. Bummer !! Maybe in future version will you have a better view and better angles.
