You can buy decals. Lots of color choices too.

you can get 'em from tapeworks.com for about $20 for a full set (two wheels / both sides)

Thinking about reflective orange or silver myself...

I've been thinking about some black stripes on my amber wheels.

Yes, the ones on my bike in the top pick came from tapeworks. They hold up well too.

I have the same stuff on my bike now too. It's red, but "lights up" orange.

The double Bubble has a reputation for melting gages on the 'bolts.

Might want to try Memphis Shades new "cockpit" screen. DaveS can get you either one.

Al at American Sport Bike carries the double bubble (part #9019) for $84.95, and the ZG Sport
touring screen (PN 9020) for the same price. I prefer the st screen myself. It makes
a larger bubble of still air for the rider. It is 3" taller. most race teams use the st screen.

act like a magnifying glass? LOL
first time i've ever heard of something like that.

weird.

BTW, what's an ST screen?

Mine are 1/4 reflective pin striping bought from my local automotive paint store. It comes in a 50 foot roll. It's a good thing i bought a big roll 'cause they are a pain in the a$$.

The ZG double bubble acts like a parabolic mirror when the sun shines in from behind it.
The focal length just happens to fall at the same place the gages sit in, or it wouldn't
be a problem, and that's why you haven't heard of it on other bikes. the angles and distances
just happened to line up. Some people that have them throw a towel over their gages
when they park. I haven't seen any reviews from board members of the memphis shades
"cockpit" screens yet, they may eliminate the problem if they didn't copy the ZG design exactly.

Actually, ZG acknowledges that it happens on other bikes, too. I just throw my gloves up on the dash when I park.
