yes. That looks like either a custom build, or something from hillbilly motors or trojan

that tail section would take like a half hour to make, the real problem is where do you put everything that is supposed to be in the tail...

It looks like the bike is carbed, so they probably got rid of 85% of the wiring on the bike along with the ecm and all the sensors

I don't see any evidence of carbs either.

Just by nature of the fact that all the electronic junk is gone, like he said!
I kinda like the stack protruding thru the air box cover too!

Lots of room under the airbox lid cover since the airbox itself is voided from the bike.

that's what I figured, with the velocity stack up through the airbox the electronics
will all fit in there easily.

Maybe that was a track bike? Running on the alternator output without a battery?

Sort of sounds like someone is trying to make a track bike streetable again.

I reckon anyone that can do easy run and bump starts on a Buell is giving away something on weight at the track.

went to bike night hee in des moines on thursdays.. pretty interesting rides.. seen a victory with a 240 on the back.. only thing dude did was cut some of the seat off and used black duct tape. guess he isn't finished with finishing the tail. but it sounded and looked pretty damn good. I was impressed. and as always. people by my bike scopin it out.. People are always curious for sure.

i was at a bike night here in uxbridge,ma last night. went for a soda and on my way back see a group of about 7-8 h.d guys looking at my bike kinda making fun of it. you know the typical "ride on the front wheel, legs to crunched up,where's the gas tank, etc. etc. i stood back for a few while they said what they wanted, then proceed to ask each one what they had..softail..low rider and whatnot. i laughed at them all and told them i like to be different (as i sit on it)and wouldn't own the typical cookie cutter bike, how many people actually looked at there bike while it was parked w/ all that chrome and why nobody was there now? why they were all looking at my bike if they didn't like it so much? then i start telling them about it and they were kinda impressed as 4 of them stayed and started asking a bunch more questions about it. funny how people are in "there" groups. just thought it was funny to me.
