i quit taco bell so i was in need of a job. i went to the local harley shop to get some bolts that vibrated off the xb. while there the owner of the shop ask me some questions. next thing i know i am an employee. free dyno's, discount parts (they are not a buell dealer), i can wear a hat (that is always important in a job decision). Its great. I am 17 and i get to work at a harley shop as kind of a view into a career. This will show me what i really want to do. Oh and my 10,000 mile service will be soon so thats nice. full time job to get cash to trick out the camaro. i'm so excited! btw this is xb related since i'll ride the xb there all the time. that is the only disadvantage to it. it is about 20-30 miles away.

Congratulations! And you get to ride 30 miles each way on an XB. Sweet!

Nice. I had a similiar experience a few years ago. Hired by a dealership while delivering a part during my other job. Learn everything you can!

That's awesome! I worked at Suburban Harley Davidson back in IL for junior and senior year of high school, most fun I have ever had at a job. We weren't a Buell dealer, but it was a blast. Enjoy!

thanks guys. id love to be riding the buell to work everyday. the 30 miles that i would travel would be nice but the days i have to drive the camaro wouldn't be as nice. i think its funny how we want to put as many miles on the bike as we can but want to keep the miles down on the car.

Congrats!

heck ya, ever since i got the bike, i barely touched the jeep. only had the bike about a year and already 10k. the gas prices alone relegated the jeep to larger cargo duties only.

I'm 16 and am currently working at the local H/D-BUELL shop. I am a service writer and really good buddy's with a BUELL mechanic. So my services are free besides parts, and I get to ride other bikes other then mine. I ride the XBS's XBSs, whatever you name it i ride it. We also service suzuki's so i ride them also. AND, on top of it, it is 13 miles to school and 17 miles past that to work. So i ride 30 miles also each way every day. I get off at 8:00 so traffic isn't too bad. It's Great, Bradley
