I know several people have mentioned removing the X from their city cross.

I have posted on the parts wanted asking if anyone had one available.

I'd guess I will get more traffic here. So, anyone got one they've removed
that they wouldn't mind parting with?

It is not sold as a separate Buell part, or I'd just order one.

Please PM me or contact me here if you have one. I really appreciate it!

go to any shop that does vinyl signs, and ask for some remover - 60 seconds, and it wipes clean. for really thick goo, use a squeegee after the first application, then re-apply the remover to take of whatevers left.

Diablobrian : it darn well ought to do the trick - the fab & machine work I do is FOR a sign shop

if it doesnt get the glue off, email me direct, and I'll see what I can find for a specific remover.

Sweet, I was loathe to suggest anything for fear of causing damage to the
clear airbox cover.

I have the city air box and removed some of the decals..had the glue stock on it...was hesitant about using goo gone due to the plastics...used wd 40...no damage, and took the mess right off
