The hyperpro combo pack?
Im finally gonna break down n get my 10k service n figured I might as well upgrade it all while the forks are off.

They say suspension upgrades are well worth the money but untill I can afford 2grand for some ohlins this seems like a pretty good alternative.
Anyone ever run these springs?

Do aftermarket Ohlins forks for the XB really run 2k? I thought I heard 3k, so I guess that is a good deal?

I looked at that site, but I am still trying to figure out wtf? They show pictures of rear shocks for what they offer, so does that mean the Buell rear shock is like 800 bones? How much for each front fork? Maybe I just need to have my fork casings anodized to match the Ohlins...haha.

According to that site.. Forks are $2195.00 or so for Street/Track. If you want 'Superbike' pure racing forks. Then think more like $7500.00 .. so, for $3K you get a full Ohlins street suspension for your bike. Then, all you need to do is install and adjust..

BUT back to the original question.
Has anyone ran this hyperpro spring upgrade combo kit?
Runs for about 300$ if IIRC.
Seems like a good deal until I CAN afford to drop 3k on suspension.
Right now I don't even like riding.
The front is so slopped out
The tires are unbalanced and wearing thin so I need to do sumthin because at the moment my bike is not the most confidence inspiring ride.

Has anyone ran this hyperpro spring upgrade combo kit

yes...

as a matter off fact, they ( hyperpro ) used my bike for fitting to make the springs..

and yes it is a upgrade, especialy the front.
feels stable and less brake diving,
but as i become more and more a track rider,
im becoming more and more convinced that liniar is better on the track,
braking late in corners and stil have a little spring travel left is better for keeping a line,
but for the road, i still love my hyperpro's

I would say it depends on you personally.

If I was gonna drop money on suspension bits, I would get straight weight for my poundage. A progressive spring is probably a bit better as an all-arounder, but harder to fine-tune.
