I've got my wheels off to put some new rubber on and I'd like to get new wheel bearings installed. Anyone venture to guess a labor time to install wheel bearings if I drop off the wheels and the bearings. I'm guessing that it will take no longer than an hour. | ||

It shouldn't take 15 minutes. But I don't know because when I took my wheel to the dealer they didn't have the right tool to pull or install bearings on a Buell! I did it myself and it only took a few minutes. They will however probably charge you for an hour so that is a good time to shoot for. | ||

What tool did you use and where did you get it. I'd like to do it myself, but it looks like you need a special tool. | ||

Dclub, I used an adjustable blind bearing puller attached to a slide hammer I can't remember the exact size. I think that it is similar to the tool that you can get at American Sport Bike, but I'm not sure. I thought that the one from American Sport Bike was supposed to work with an Arbor press anyone know for sure? |
