I did a search but am having no luck finding a site that sells XBS plastics. I would like to get some that are not painted. Does anyone have any ideas?

They are not painted. The color is embedded in the plastic. Now if you just want a nuetral color like white, ask around and ebay. I happen to be looking for some white stuff also.

They do not come as original plastics in anything other than the colors you see because they are not painted, the color is actually impregnated in the material itself. I myself died my yellow plastics with Rit fabric dye, rode it for a while and dedided to paint it flat black. I used Krylon ultra-flat after putting a light sand to the plastic. It came out really cool as long as you dont look too close. You see, painting is a skill that continues to elude me.

Would powder coating work on the plastics?

No, powder coating requires high heat in the process. They'd melt.

I want to figure out a way to get my flyscreen the same color as my amber wheels.

Take your wheel to your local auto spray shop and they will probably be able to match the colour pretty well. If not try a custom painter.

We had our wheels powder coated in a very trick orange with metallic silver fleck that looks stunning in sunlight. When I went to match paint for the bodywork it turned out to be an exact match Kawasaki Z1000 orange!
