I am not in the market, but am sort of looking for a second bike eventually as another ride besides the XB. Not sure if I want to go sportbike or cruiser. I don't want anything too huge like one of those H-D astro-glides. The GSX-R 750 is on my list, but I don't know about maintenance on those pieces. I would love a 999r, but that is way too expensive and maintenance would be retarded. Maybe a 100th anniv. H-D softtail would fit in there, but any suggestions welcome. |

I have a Buell XB12R, Wifes Blast, Suzuki Ltz-400, Pw 80, and a old school chopper, The Uly is next in line, and I only have a couple months to wait!!!!!! I will get a motard or a track bike next year, first I gotta get through this year. I guess the question you should ask yourself is what do you want the bike to do? I have yet to find one to do it all but the Uly is close. |

I have an XB9SX and a Yamaha RD350 cafe racer. But I have been thinking of adding a Honda NC30 (VFR400) to the mix. |

I have a Suzuki 400 Motard at the moment...which I also ride in the dirt whenever I can for variety. Other bikes I have had along with the XB are a 1987 FZ700 and an SV1000S. It really depends upon what kinds of riding you want to do and if an XB can do it all...in my case it can't fit my dirt riding desires which is where I started out... |

I have a Suzuki VZ800 as a second bike. That one is more wife friendly as she will not ride on the XB. I like having both a cruiser and a sportbike, since they are 2 very different riding styles, and sometimes it is nice to have a nice slow ride out into the country and just enjoy the scenery. My next bike will be to get rid of the marauder and get a bigger cruiser. I am looking at a Road King perhaps. Not sure yet, and it won't be till at least next year anyway so I have time. |

Having a second bike can keep you happy when either one is need of repair or mods. I currently ride an '04 FZ6 when the XB9S is unavailable. |

Ever thought of one of these? Not a bad ride, little heavier than the XB9 (200 lbs) cheaper than a Harley.

For me the xb will be my second bike. I also have a Goldwing 1800 for touring duty and trips with the wife. I want something smaller and sportier for when I'm by myself. The next bike (in a year or two) will probably be a Triumph Thruxton. I like the classic looks, but don't really enjoy riding a cruiser that much. Of course, who knows what'll come out by then. |
