Im Just about to chop off my chease grater and started to think about a license plate holder, does the custom made ones under the tail, have any FULL Suspension compression issues? wouldnt the tire touch the plate??
My brother just came from Italy and took pictures of an amazing one,it's a flat aluminum bar, atached to the rear axle it holds the plate right after the rear tire, in a way ive never seen before, if anybody can host the pics for me ill post them here, im interested in making one like that one for me!!

Thanks!!

Giacomo

If you angle the plate a bit it won't.
Black_sunshine curled his plate a bit.

Kind of like a little fender?
Rizoma is the company that makes those.
Or, used to make them, they quit a while back, but, if you really want one, I happen to know where to get one.
My friends at Stone Mountain HD & Buell have one on hand.

I emailed Rizoma in Germany, and they said "no" they do not have any more parts in the warehouse.
Additionally,Stone Mountain does not have any of these brackets.
If you need more pictures of the part let me know and I will see what I can do.

Check out my set up.. I made one my self with a piece of Angle Aluminium from lowes and used the holes that the gromets are (where your wires are ran through) and bolted it there. I left the groments in to help keep water out.. Here is my link to how mine turned out.. Not to bad for never doing anything like that. I am about 230 and with me and my wife on it I still have about an inch.. I bent the Licenses plate out some to be safe.

Looks nice buellxb9s. Have you thought about throwing some shims in there to level the lights?
