I have seen the new service announcement here lately about the updated torque value on the output shaft nut! Is that a recall from buell or just a heads up to all owners to do it themselves?

No, just if you take it in due to that nut coming loose (you'll know, it will make a nasty noise) then they're to torque it to that.

Being it's for the Sportster's to and HD techs seem to have it in their heads that the Buell are Sportsters we shouldn't have to worry to much about them messing this up and putting the wrong torque to it. Least, that's my feeling. YMMV

It is all because the PRIMARY CHAINS are run TOO TIGHT !!!

Not a recall, just a tech advisory.

Not sure if it is chain tension related or not. Could be though. Lafayette, did you hear that from a reliable source or are you kinda guessing based upon your own experience?
