Does anyone have any experience with using a PC II for an x1 or M1 on an 03 or newer xb9/12? Does it work properly, have the same connections? It seems that i have been reading post after post about similar topics but have found no definite answer. I would really like some help here. thanks

It works fine : ).

You'll need the Hi-Po O2 sensor. You'll need to tap into the TPS with one of the wires from the PC. It NEEDS to be dyno tuned.

Read the entire online manual at powercommander.com and pay particular attention to Pg. 17 (or 14?) of said manual. It describes an area known as "the box". Take heed or it won't work well. Make SURE you're dyno guy understands the box. Make SURE that your AFV is settled when you begin tuning. Once you pull the bike off, go settle the AFV again and then put it back on the dyno and check some stuff out to make sure you're good and your AFV didn't creep while it was on the dyno being tuned.

Use the "1" setting for enrichment when you tune.

BTW... The K&N PCII's are actually PCIII's. They were badged in-correctly by K&N.

All that said... I'd recommend the Direct link software from Dave or Al over the PC.

Another Blake. Cool an XBlake, the new shorter wheelbase, higher performance, better handling Blake?

Welcome! : )

Xblake, you do know that the pc set-up is now a generation behind current tech right?

The Direct-Link is the latest and greatest. It re-programs the ECM itself so it more
dynamic than the pcIII. This is especially true if you have access to a dyno (say at MMI)
and can take the time to really fine tune the ECM

i just pulled one from my racebike because it was conflicting with my race ECM. want to buy it? you'll need a TPS reset and some dyno tuning.

PM me if youre interested
