Ahhh yep... This thread is turning into a sentimental soap opera. Time for me to leave...
Ccmen1, Bueller 69 and whoever you WILL become in days to come, good luck with the whole Jihad against Buells, and their owners thing.

Well here we go again...

It's exactly that whole "brotherhood" thing that I can't relate and I'm opposed to.
I have always been very secure and fiercely independent. In my rides AND my life!

Then why are you here? Go play on your Aprilia. We are here to talk about Buells. You don't want to be here and we don't want you here. Whenever you get angry you start getting personal. Do yourself a favor, go for a ride, and next time you get a urge to get on Badweb DON'T!

If you are such a great wrencher, you can fix your on bike and sell it. And we will go riding with our friends and you can go ride "Independently". Take care and good luck with that.

Look! I bought one and ride it everyday! It’s not that I hate Buells, or Buell owners.
I’m not even asking anyone to believe what I believe.
I think you guys are just coming from a different culture. You probably scrimped & saved, or went out on a limb to finance your Buell and it’s your only bike and you love it, and that’s fine.
I own & ride several bikes. I have for very many years now. It allows me to be a little more objective. I simply call it like I see it. Just like you! Why is it you’re entitled to YOUR opinions and I’m not??
There were just as many totally ridiculous statements made on your part as mine.
i.e. A Buell can & will beat a liter bike! Come on guys! If that’s the case, why do they race against 600’s???? Give me a friggin break here!
I’m really not TRYING to anyone off here, but I had no idea how thin skinned & easy it would be. FYI, the reason I’ve been kicked off the Aprilia Forum, among other things, is because I also point out the faults in the Aprilia. So, I AM an equal opportunity opinionated ass hole!

DUDE! Come on, get over it! I'm glad your and equal opportunity opinionated ass hole! I'm having problems with my bike and I love this thing even though its giving me a friggin headache and it only has 279 miles on it. Ya, it might not be the fastest bike in the world, but I knew that from the day I bought it. Big deal, but I like it and that all that matters to me and 99.9% of the people on this site. And I'm glad you have an opinion, but just like me, opinion are like ass holes everyone has one. (IMO)

I don't care what you can or can't afford...that just means you don't have the reasons to complain us mortal folk have. Get a life man, fact is you love pissing people off. I.E.

FYI, the reason I’ve been kicked off the Aprilia Forum, among other things, is because I also point out the faults in the Aprilia.

Just do all a favor take your opinions elsewhere. This is a Buell site. For that matter start your on Buell haters site, you are so rich you can afford it. That way all the whiners like yourself can whine together and we don't have to hear it. Oh, and by the way, yes, Air cooled Buell V-twins race against watercooled 600's. Wheres Aprilia?

Bueller69,

Whoa! ; [ You've been suspended from participation yet you see fit to sign back up and cause more consternation here? Very uncool! What does such behavior indicate about one's character or lack thereof? :/

Did you or did you not agree to the policies of this board when registering? Of course the answer to that question is yes as all are required to do so in order to register and post here. Again, what does such behavior indicate about one's character or lack thereof? :/

In days past, most men who prided themselves as being "fiercely independent" headed for the mountains. They certainly didn't hang around good natured social folk stirring up consternation.

You reappear here again in violation of the board policies to which you agreed (twice now), stirring up more consternation, again in violation of the policies to which you agreed (twice now), and your ISP will be hearing from us.

It's entirely your choice. : |

Quite nice here. Daily highs last week were 64-82 degrees, I rode every day except Monday. We got a shot of cold last night, it was 35 when I woke up this morning. It's already back up to 63 now and highs are supposed to be into the 70s for the rest of the week.

Has anyone pointed out that any of the big three of sportbikes, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda would probably beat his Aprilia? For thousands of dollars less. These are all race proven class bikes. If you wanna even get into liter bikes, how about the Hayabusa? In top speed, especially. So the only real reason to ride the Aprilia over these would be to be different, or that you just simply prefer it. Kinda like the reason we ride Buells.

I'm jealous. Riding different bikes is what I miss the most about working at a dealer. Someone trade in a 636? I'd take it to lunch. Rental V-rod needs break-in miles? No problem.

It's supposed to hit 74 today, but I was running late this morning and didn't have time to put on gear so I took the car to work. : ( I'll probably go home and get the bike at lunch time.

It was 30 when I left yesterday am...and I don't have cold weather gear. But it was worth the nice ride home.
