Engine sprocket - 35T S1 parts book, part number 40235-89. Firebolt engine sprocket - 35T XB9r parts bookpart number 40241-02. This is the part that connects the engine to the clutch basket by use of the primary chain. The S1 is probably the same as a Sportster.

My parts book says the XB has 35 teeth as is.

I saw that, but in my user manual(side E15) it says XB Have
engine: 34T clutch: 57T (1,68-1 ratio)
and on a S1 (checked on a friends bike)
Engine: 35T Clutch: 56T (1,6-1 ratio)

I just want to know if the "old" 35T sprocket can be used in my Firebolt getting a 1,63-1 ratio. I do not want to buy a engine sprocket and find out the hard way that it not fits due to mechanical reasons.
(hopefully you can understand my question because my dictionary runs hot here :)

My 2 cents: I went the other way. XB 34T and clutch to my M2 The sprocket fit perfect BUT the XB mounts on the Charging Rotor with 8 bolts the 35T motor sprocket has only 4 holes. I think the extra bolts are for security at 7200!

The Whole Clutch! It was an experiment to improve my 00M2. So far the jury is out on the results. Cost was too high to reccomend unless you blew your clutch and need the whole assembly. then it is close to stock price. Good luck on your gearing. I just might put the 2K 35T front sprocket just to see or feel the difference. But had to put the whole XB assembly for comparison.
