Hey guys I have a quick question before I go to the paint store and look at paint forever. What paint should I get for my frame pucks- probably rattle can. I want to match the stock frame a close as possible. Any special kind for the rubber? Also I want a glossy look. Thanks for the help. A few people have posted pics of silver pucks and they look great.

Easy way....Go to auto parts store and find a silver spray can to match, I know buell sells frame touch up spray but not sure of colors. If pucks are on frame tape off area, wipe pucks down with lacquer thinner a couple of times, spray paint after the thinner flashes off. Spray wet and just enough to cover, too thick it can crack or peal, clear coat if you want to but i think the paint will have the right shine, clear might be to shiny....

Don't know how it'll stick to the pucks...probably ok, but HD sells the frame paint in spray bombs. It'd be a perfect match. Whether or not you lay some sort of primer down for the rubber, I'm not sure. Then you could just lay some clear on top to get it glossy.

You can get paint to match the frame from Daves. I also used an adhesion promoter, Pit Bull. 2-3 coats promoter and 2-3 coats paint. I didnt clear coat but that might give you the gloss your after.

Definitely get the spray paint to match from Daves. Your pucks will blend in with the frame perfectly. Why be close when you can get the factory paint? It's about $15 per can.

Graphite Grey:
M0310.1AAYBP

Fluid Silver:
M0310.YBD

Any plastic adhesion promoter will work - any auto parts store should have some. Helps create a better base for the paint to stick to.
