I bought a used Latus muffler today and I am wondering what to do about the A/F ratio? Should I just get a Buell race module or is there a better option?

Thank you

Get a direct link key and have a tuner dial in you stock ecm. It'd be a little more counting the dyno time, but your bike will run tops. Daves or Al(sponsors) can provide the key, and hopefully you have a HD shop that has DL tuning experience near you.

Worth a shot. The buell race ecm would help some, but be far from perfect.

Congrats on the Latus can. I had one on my '03 9R and really liked the performance and sound. It doesn't get a lot of press, but it has a nice deep tone and isn't obscenely loud.

i also love my Latus. i have it on my 12s. i haven't done anything with my ecm or air filter and it runs just fine. i do plan on getting either the race ecm or the direct link key and the k&n air filter sometime in the future. there is just to many projects and not enough money.

I am running the Latus pipe with a race ECM and a K&N filter, and it runs really well ('03 9R). It will run much better with the DL tuning, but it's noticeably better than stock with just the race ECM. I would do the DL tuning if I was racing competitively.

Thanks guys. I installed it today, have not fired it as I am doing maintenance as well.

Does it mount using all of the stock mounts. Everything looks solid, but I want to be sure.

It uses all of the stock mounts including the chin fairing.

Do they still make the latus? Anyone know how it compares to a jardine, I might sell my jardine for a more quiet can.
