i'm in the process of putting a r tail on my sl....not cheap but you can find used stuff on e-bay...I got about 450.00 into now and still need to spend at least 200.00 in body parts plus i want to repaint my bike | ||

not finished yet....i know it will all fit i just need to get the new undertail and bodywork from daves to finish the job...i rough fit everything and it all looks good | ||

S to r is supposed to be far easier than r to s. There should be no problem fitting the electronics in the larger area in the tail. those wanting to put an s front on an r have to find a place for all the electronics that are normally hidden behind the fairing on the r. | ||

I have the R tail section on my S. It is not a low model, but the tail swap should be the same. I have pics of the entire swap if needed | ||

are you looking to convert just the frontend to an R? or are you looking to convert the whole bike to an r? I played with the idea of doing a full conversion on my bike w/ the top triple tree and bars and everything including the rear seat. I'd like to see a complete listing of the parts too.. if its not a huge pain in the ass maybe we could swap parts? | ||

Hey Qball is that the Low suspension that you bought from me? If it is I can tell any potential buyer that it has very few miles on it. I changed my suspension around the 1000 mile mark. That Low suspension that I sold Qball is in GREAT condition.  | ||
