Anyone try wavy rotors on their XB? I have heard clams of more friction coefficient, better resistance to the heat, more initial braking power, more feeling on the lever, better handling, and less weight.

Just wanting to know if they just look cool, or the claims can be backed up....

We just put them on the race bike.
Michael gave them favorable reviews at Daytona.

Does anyone have some pics of these rotors on their bikes? I've thought about getting them a couple times, but that $450 price tag for the set has kept me from doing it. I'm sure they are pretty awesome if you've got the cash.

I got this one from bitz4buells
I even changed the brakepads to EBC sintered when I installed it.
Not noticbly any better in fact my first impression after bedding the pads in was that it worked WORSE than the stock disc.(If thats possible)
Had it on there for about a year n a half n i still think the back break sucks on these bikes so I dunno if it was worth the $ or not but it DOES look cooler.

My Bitz4Buells razor rear came with matching pads and is better than standard IMHO. I do tend to use it, though!

Scunna,

How does the R30 compare to your XB9..I've heard they are a bit mental.

After a few rides all I can say is now if I sneeze on my lever the bike stops. I can't hit my back brake to hard or it locks up almost instantly. Amazing stopping power!!!
