Its a nice day out and of course my dealer doesn't have a oil filter for my XB12R. Does anyone know if autozone or adavance auto has oil filters that will fit a XB12R? Just curious if a XB9R oil filter will fit on a XB12R?

THanks

Cool how many quarts of oil does the XB12R take?

not sure. The 9's take 2.5 quarts.
I would think the 12's take the same.

Same.

Do you have an owners manual, if not, I would suggest getting one, and maybe the service manual if you plan on doing much of your own work.

Amsoil oil filter for XB12R per there tech. rep. SMF134. Said the SDF10 would work but is smaller.

don't forget the SCOTTS PERFORMANCE oil filter also. a little pricey but it looks soooo sweet, and is reusable.

The AMSOIL tech lied to me. The stock filter is about 2 5/8" in Dia. the SMF134 is 3". There wasn't enough room for the 134 to fit so i'll give the SDF10 a try.
