Its a nice day out and of course my dealer doesn't have a oil filter for my XB12R. Does anyone know if autozone or adavance auto has oil filters that will fit a XB12R? Just curious if a XB9R oil filter will fit on a XB12R? THanks |

not sure. The 9's take 2.5 quarts. I would think the 12's take the same. |

Same. Do you have an owners manual, if not, I would suggest getting one, and maybe the service manual if you plan on doing much of your own work. |

Amsoil oil filter for XB12R per there tech. rep. SMF134. Said the SDF10 would work but is smaller. |

don't forget the SCOTTS PERFORMANCE oil filter also. a little pricey but it looks soooo sweet, and is reusable. |

The AMSOIL tech lied to me. The stock filter is about 2 5/8" in Dia. the SMF134 is 3". There wasn't enough room for the 134 to fit so i'll give the SDF10 a try. |
