Question for anyone....I have an 05 XB12S with the race kit on it. ROUGHLY what kind of horsepower does this bike have? How about torque? The reason I ask is I the Buell brochures say 84 ft. lbs @ 6000 rpm and 103 HP @ 6800 rpm. I have seen in many posts the thought about achieving 110 rwhp. I'm thinking with the race kit on, I should be pretty close to that number (I base that on the similar upgrades I did to my twin cam Dyna-dyno numbers were in the mid 80's with big bore, cams, pipes and intake-which is a big jump from stock). Am I all wet here and talking apples and oranges here? My fun-o-meter says my Buell is one hot machine. I used to have a Honda V-65 Magna that I thought was fast, but this Lightning scared the snot out of me when I first got it. Thanks in advance! |

Vito the 103 number is engine shaft not rear wheel. ... My "ULY" has a American Sport Bike Open AirBox and a Micron full system it makes 100 RWHP, so your 12S with the Race Kit should make between 93 and 97 at the rear wheel. ... Terry |
