What are the Best combination options for Frame Sliders and Pucks for a 2003 XB9S. I would like to minimize damage for a drop or slide. The bike currently has a handlebar tip end that extends out around 1/2 inch from grip end. Would this have been from the factory.

Thanks

Wayne

Use the standard plastic frame pucks and some Dark Horse fork and swingarm sliders.

This has been discussed many times btw and seems to be the best combination.

I would have to agree with Skyguy. I've seen a few bikes go down with the frame puck and they work like charm. Very minimal damage and easy and relatively cheep to replace.

I have them in stock and will save you the "ever popular" 10% for being a Badweb member
Pucks 44.95 (the Buell website has them priced wrong)
Front axle sliders 44.95
Rear sliders 44.95-62.95 depending on which style/color you choose

BadWeB Team

Thanks for confirming what looked like a good combination of factory frame sliders with DHM axle pucks. It makes it even nicer when I can support a couple of site sponsors (Dave and Keith IIRC).

I would agree, I just got the frame pucks, 1 bar end mirror and the other is a bar end protector. I think that will do the job, but I plan on buying some more fram sliders that attache to the front of the bike, I think they are from blitz. and some dark horse moto fram sliders.. I don't want to break my primary cover again. that wa a pain in the a$$. have fun guys.. i am off to the club!!
