Who can tell me how some of the popular XB exhausts rank from lightest to heaviest? Or is there even much difference?

For a full system I think the Ti Force could well be the lightest, but that in it's self can be it's downfall. Even on the stainless version the can walls are so thin that when the packing goes away it explodes like a "Coke" can thats been setting in the sun. We went through four @ $1100/ea last racing season. ... Terry

The Micron system weighs 17lbs, 3lbs lighter than the stock system.

Drummer SS weighs 9 lbs. That equates to about a 9 pound loss.

The micron weight was full weight right? Compared to weight of just Drummer can?

I know Mr. Cuell has his stock header off...might as well weigh it so we'll know what it weighs...
I'm guessing 10lbs....

Hey - why didn't I think of that! I'm such a damn dummy - I was going to ask someone if they could weigh it -

I'll do it today, but all I have is a bathroom scale.

I'm sure the Jardine is the lightest pipe. I think it weighs about 3 lbs.

I would also say the Jardine.
It weighs next to nothing.
Not my favorite pipe but it is the lightest I have seen.

I think the Force (Not the Ti-Force) would be the lightest "muffler" and the stock header may be the lightest header. I'm not sure on the header though. I'm just going by the look of them.

Is it still the lightest when you add all the weld and bracing so it doesn't break anymore

BTW, the 20 lb stock full system is one of if not the lightest OEM exhaust out there. It's the lightest of any I have weighed. I have weighed "sportbike" systems that were near 40 lbs. And I've read the magazines criticizing the "big heavy muffler". Idiots.

"Is it still the lightest when you add all the weld and bracing so it doesn't break anymore"

: )... No : ). My statement was in no way advocating that people should buy a Force pipe : ).

well yeah the buell exhausts SHOULD be about the lightest out there compared to a japanese sportbike...a full buell exhaust only has 2 headers instead of 4 and is about 2-3 feet shorter...

Looks like if the 9 header is 4lbs at the most, and SS is 10 lbs at the most then that's 14lbs...not bad...

I second what Mcgiver said... He rides way harder than I do and his TiForce looks as beautiful and sounds as great as the first time I laid eyes on it. I have the factory race can and I'm jealous.
