Just in case any of you were wondering, cause I know you are, the Firebolt soft/hard bags from Buell can hold 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies per side without using the expansion zipper. I figure the expansion zipper is worth another 2.5-3.5 boxes...

I hate the Thin Mints, but I still got taken for a box of them, along with the Trefoils (what the hell is a Trefoil anyway?) and the Cafe cookies.

They changed all of the cookies since I had bought them last. They are now smaller cookies and aren't as good as they used to be. I am dissapointed. I still won't complain if you sent me several boxes though. : D

Thin mints and Tagalongs. Both are best right out of the freezer.

There are two types of peanut butter cookies, which one, Tagalogs, or the "sandwich" ones?

I think we better settle this with an all member poll on which cookies are the best. This is important!

Anyway, Samoas rule! Downside is the "whole box gone once it's opened" issue...

Samoas absolutely rule! I have some great memories of my girls, they're now 23 and 21, selling cookies. I'd normally buy out the Samoas and what I couldn't eat, which was minimal, I'd freeze for later.

Great memories right there.

I had to click on this link to see what a guy named "Big Daddy" had to say about Girl Scout cookies . . . I have 3 daughters 6,5,3 and while I am happy they are still young, posts like that bum me out, as I know it will be all over in the blink of an eye, and they'll be grown. Sniff . .

I'm done with his thread - lets talk about how much power I can get out of something, or the Mets game, or chainsaws. Who wants to arm-wrestle?

Mr_cuell, Words of advice:

1. college fund(s) should already be active
2. make them hate motorcycles :-)
3. let all the little boys know right now that you're a freaking nut case -- easier to convince them pre-puberty

I, unfortunately, didn't have any advice and one of my girls has turned into a little Buelligan.

Hmm-

1. College fund was sorta kinda maybe sunk into body work, ecm and micron this winter. Next year I'll get to it . . .

2. I have them rev up our bikes and wear our helmets around the house for fun . . . is that bad? Their momma wears full black leathers with her last name in hot pink across the back, and rides a flat black Hawk GT with clip ons, rear sets and an M4 -

3. Done

LOL..you guys are a trip...only in Buell world are the men secure enough to say the word TREFOIL!!!

The best is the look of wonder on their little faces when you coast up to the stand shift to neutral. Don't get off the bike or take off your helmet. point to the thin mints hand them your money put the cookies in a coat pocket and ride away. mmmmm thin mints enjoying some now actually.

We don't even get girl scout cookies over here in Aust. Once a mate at Uni from the States had some sent over from his mum and they were the goods. We ate them with beer.
