i just replaced my drummer loud with a the new ss,what a difference! for anybody considering the new ss,i would highly recommend it over the other exhaust on the market at this time. i've run several of the readily available pipes on the market and the ss is by far the best i've had!the power delivery is fantastic, the torque down low is ever better than the loud drummer and the bike pulls like a frieght train all the way to the rev limiter.it pull much smoother with a softer hit than the loud.the fit and finish are outstanding with the installation being very staight forward.if there's anybody out there considering the ss but are concerned about the cost/performance differences between the loud/original drummer and the ss,its well worth it. an added bonus for my was being able to pick up the phone and being able to talk to the man himself and not some vender selling a mass produced product. very grassroots racing like. hats off to kevin for building another awesome product. THANKS KEVIN

So the SS isn't as "loud" as the original drummer?

I'm deciding which drummer to get, seems like the SS is the way to go. Sound wise I don't want an obnoxiously loud pipe, but something that sounds more rumbly than stock.

Did you get the chin-fairing mounting brackets?

no its not as loud as the loud drummer. its plenty loud just at a different tone. very deep sounding and not raspy/hollow like the loud. i like loud systems and this one just sound great. i did get the fairing mounts and they worked out perfect.

I'll second the praise to the Drummer SS. It's a great looking exhaust that performs very well.

Kevin's a craftsman that truly cares about his reputation. It's a rarity these days to find someone such as himself. Not too many people are going to give you a follow up call to make sure you are happy with their product.
