I took my bike for a pretty long trip and half way there I got stuck in traffic. After a few minutes my bike started missing if I held the throttle at a certain rpm or I gradually sped you. If I let go of the throttle then resumed it would go away. Also the idle when down from 1100 to 900 and it would bob up and down from 800-1000. My trouble codes tell me it's the O2 sensor. I have a PC3 in my bike and im not sure if I'm supposed to get a special kind or something. | ||

Did you buy the four pin O2 sensor for the PCIII? Most guys seem to use the TFI from dobeck and don't have any problems, other than getting it adjusted to their bike | ||

I guess I forgot to ask the simplest question, how long have you had the bike and did the problem just start? If you are sure it's the sensor faulting, why not just replace it? If you look on american sportbikes website you'll see the sensor I'm talking about, not very expensive. | ||

It just started last night. Im not completely sure but thats what the ecm told me. I'll check out that site. Is it worth getting a stock one or a dynojet? Anyone know? | ||

if you are running the power commander you have to run the 4 lead type, not the 2 wire stock o2 sensor. | ||

Another simple idea, did you check the wiring connections? As for the sensor I don't think it matters what brand as long as it's the four pin for the PCIII |
