hi guys, just keeping my request fresh (maybe I am posting to the wrong section). Does anyone know the size and type of steering bearings in the XB? I really ned to take care of this but I will be dammed if I am going to pay "Harley money" for them. Especially with so many quality suppliers near me.

Thanks

So far all I have come across is a link to the ironmachine site where they offer a set.
http://www.ironmachine.com/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=182
Hope that helps

Hogs, I know about hte bearing numbers but i want to ride the bike to go get the bearings. My weird ass pinzgauer is awaiting a set of pistons, so I have to ride. Real bummer to because it is about 80 degrees out all this week.

Aldaytona, All parts purchased from the dealer have rather high resale prices. The dorks want to charge me wayyyy to much for the same bearing I can get at a local suply house.

Good example? I can buy the exact same brake pads as stock from Chaperral for $50.00 a pair. The freaking dealer wants $100.00. I don't enjoy getting ripped off.

Interex, Thanks for the link. 30.00 is a pretty good deal. i still want the darn numbers though as I may be able to buy an upgraded bearing for around the same price. My pinzgauer uses lots of bearings that cost a fortune from the dealer but are often one fifth of the price at a bearing house.
