HI
got a problem with the starter,when running can here the starter coming in ,like if a ghost has pressed it, got to phone the dealers,thought i could smell melting wires today,anybody else had this?.

2 likely possibilities: deeply discharged or defective battery, or defective start relay. third, but not real likely is a defective start button on right handgrip. good luck with this one. and please post the resolution. dean

I had this happen to my car once. With the starter engaged, being driven my the engine, it acts as a generator, sending current back through the wiring the wrong way. It will mess up the voltage regulator and other electronics as a result.........not a good thing.

the dealers found the problem ,solanoid replaced.
