just like the subject line says....what is the best method for it. i bought the aerosol touch-up paint the other day and scored some parts off ebay that are gonna need a little paint. thanks

I used white vinigar then some alcohol and it worked great. the paint has texture in it and dries flat with a perfect match. no issue what so ever.

so no sanding is required? that would definately make an easy job even easier!!

so what process do you use? just a light roughing of the surface (with what grit)?

just gradually work your way down to a smooth surface.
normally a medium and a fine grit should be enough.
after sanding clean with alcohol as Raymondt mentioned.
