06 Long rocks!! Anyone purchased one yet? I currently ride 02 R1150RT (surgin'bronco...I know, I know) and also have '91 K75S. The guys on this website have transformed a beast into a beautiful beast. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/132583.html?1123683214 I love twins and expect to purchase a XB12Ss by mid next year. Reliability? Suggestions? Can you get side bags? thanks |

Just bought an XB12s in October and love the bike so far . Lots of fun to ride with tons of wheel lifting power . Got rid of a gixxer for it with no regrets . |

The XB12Ss is a very cool bike I sat on one at the dealership. Its a full size motorcycle end to end. The only thing I dont like is its the same bike horsepower wise and your picking up allot of extra weight with it between the longer swingarm and the extra gallons of gas. |

I got about 1,200 miles on mine before the weather turned bad. With a Drummer SS, K&N and race ECM it really came alive. I can't wait for spring. I think I'll be taking it to Daytona. |

I have an XB12Ss I bought in October. I've put a little over 800 miles on it so far. I love this bike! It doesn't turn in as good as the SuperMoto bike I was riding last summer (stolen in September), but I'm hoping that changing to a rear tire with a more rounded profile will remedy that problem. As for luggage; Ventura has a rack listed for it on their site, but it won't be available until February. Its to expensive for what it is and a little ugly in my opinion, but I'll probably buy one anyway because I haven't found anything else to fit this bike. I'd love to see a touring seat and some nice hard bags for this bike, aftermarket or OEM, but nothing yet. Maybe time will change this. In the meantime, I eagerly await the occasional days when it is warm enough to try and wear out those stock Dunlop tires. |

I have a 06 xb12ss, love it . Coming off a R1100RS ,I do alot of sport touring the xb12ss is close on mileage about 180/190 on the new larger frame tank of 4.4gallons. the xb is more comfortable than my bmw . The big difference is the wind protection. none! Laminar Lips makes a small fairing called a speed shield, I got one it is great, but it's no RT. |

I have had mine for about a week and a half now. It has been wonderful. I put the race kit on the other day and all I can say is wow! What a difference, both in sound and performance. The only complaint I have against it is the lack of contour on the seat. It does not have the same curve like the xb12s that tends to hold the old rear-end in place during the launch, so I tend to rock back and forth more. It is very comfortable for the longer rides as I have ridden for a couple of hours without fatigue. It is as very minor complaint and overall would highly recommend this bike. |
