i wouldnt mind having this thing. would be kinda neat to park the bike on but not enough room in the garage. and kinda expensive.

PITA getting a bike on and off the stand without scratching it.

Takes about 3 people to do it right.

That would be cool to have during the non riding season (for those who have a non riding season)

Our Buell dealer here in KC has one of those. It makes for a pretty cool display. Right when you walk into the dealership there is a Buell Lightning leaned over at a 30 degree angle sporting a D&D exhaust. Eye candy!

Port Charlotte, FL HD/Buell has one of those stands too, it is kickin' cool..they have it displayed as you walk in the front door, NO ONE misses the buells there..they are all displayed right at the front of the store...GREAT way to get them seen!

Does that clamp catch a frame tube? So it would be tubers only and one side up only?

That would make one side easier to get and the other nearly impossible to get at, no?

Nope, fork tube.

It only fits XB models, and I'm assuming it's the old style stand that will only fit the 52" wheelbase bikes.

It is a lay down stand, intended for display purposes. Not really a service or at home stand. It lays the bike at a 45° angle, laying on the right side. You cannot change that, it is always right side down.
As I mentioned earlier, its a PITA to get a bike on or off of it. And it takes about 3 people.

We generally have ours set up in our entry way where every single person has to walk by it twice; once in, once out. Right now, it's set up at our Holiday store in the local Mall, so every person that walks by the store gets a good look at it. It's fun to see peoples responses to it.

Oh, and it's also built strong enough that you can get on the bike and get a knee down and attempt to keep from falling off. (gravity is a bitch) Good times.

Yup, that's my local dealer so if someone wanted to buy it and needed assistance it could be arranged.
