When should I replace mine? I have 22,700 miles on it. I've heard they last for around 60,000 miles. Just thought I'd ask. | ||

they might "last" that long, but as time goes by the response time suffers. I don't run them more than 15k, and it does seem to run better with a fresh one. I look at it as a tune up item, like spark plugs. | ||

I fitted a new one to the XB12S recently, I think the old one may have got a couple of whiffs of non-O2 sensor safe silicon. Interesting to note the Bosch part number stamped into the new genuine Buell sensor (p/n S0130.02A8) which is 0 258 002 060. Maybe it's not a Bosch p/n but it sure looks like one. | ||

I have about 17K on my bike and I really never thought about changing it. I dont think I am having problems. What are the symptoms of one going bad? What do they cost? | ||

Running poorly? Although I've not noticed anything. What do they cost? I'm not sure, but if you get one from the auto parts store, I'm sure it's not much. I guess I'll get one. Looks to be a pain to get to? | ||

bosch is the manufacturer and I posted here or in the knowledge volt about it... I replaced mine for about $20.00... the part number is around... its a GM o2 sensor... BTW I screwed mine up myself! |
