When should I replace mine? I have 22,700 miles on it. I've heard they last for around 60,000 miles. Just thought I'd ask.

they might "last" that long, but as time goes by the response time suffers. I don't run them more than 15k, and it does seem to run better with a fresh one. I look at it as a tune up item, like spark plugs.

I fitted a new one to the XB12S recently, I think the old one may have got a couple of whiffs of non-O2 sensor safe silicon. Interesting to note the Bosch part number stamped into the new genuine Buell sensor (p/n S0130.02A8) which is
0 258 002 060. Maybe it's not a Bosch p/n but it sure looks like one.

I have about 17K on my bike and I really never thought about changing it. I dont think I am having problems. What are the symptoms of one going bad? What do they cost?

Same here only I've 40thousand miles on mine.
What are the symptoms of one going bad?
Running poorly? Although I've not noticed anything.
What do they cost?
I'm not sure, but if you get one from the auto parts store, I'm sure it's not much.
I guess I'll get one.
Looks to be a pain to get to?
