too bad about all the plumbing everywhere for oil cooling. neat idea though.

That has Street Tracker written all over it...

Just need a Flat track frame 20K or so of extra go faster parts, and probably a winning lottery ticket for that motor...

I still like it though...

Notice that those valves are radially aranged? The rockers have a sort od ball joint arrangement with them I guess.
I bet something like that would be great on a XB9 engine.

Indeed, its quite a work of art.
The only downside is that it wouldn't work out as nicely on a daily rider, tappets aren't all that fun to get to... (unless its a Guzzi or a cx)

Hmmmm.. If I remember my history, didn't Harley build a 4 valve racing engine once a long time ago? Then, recall them from the track because they were too fast for technology of the bikes at that time or some such? I seem to recall reading something about it.. Then, after the fire at HQ, they seemed to forget all about it.. Go figure..

Would be interesting.. I wonder.. is EB thinking on those lines for the 'Next' generation? Hmmmmmm...
