Hi anybody have a spark plug pref for the XB12's I've just put in Denso xu27epr-u Do'nt seem to be any good for cold days starting,fine when engine has warmed up. | ||

you have just discovered that the IXU27 is colder than the stock spark plug. the technician at DENSO reccomends the IXU24 for Buell XB. | ||

The IXU24 is what I sell for the Buells That's what the chart in the PU book says to use. How'd you end up with 27s? | ||

IX27B is the direct cross reference for NGK DPR9EA-9 cool (equivalent to Buell 10R12 & 10R12A) - thats why I recommend this one. GT - JBOTDS! EZ  | ||

I emailed this site and thats what they said to use http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/ But the bike has been really playing up in the cold british weather tends to run on one cylinder mainly the front was ok last year and the bike has just been serviced and i gave them those plugs to fit. | ||

Some of the UK plugs for XBs use different numbers than in the US, I can't remember if they were NDs or NGKs. The iridium NGKs solved my fouling problem. | ||

Take it from me. I've been in the motor trade for years, both hands on bikes and cars, and nothing beats an NGK plug in the UK. And yes I've tried all manner of plugs in my S1W and always ended up using NGK's. Rocket |
