Are there any Buell dealerships near Lake Worth florida? I'm trying to buy a bike in florida but I want the bike to be looked over by a Buell mechanic before I purchase it. Can anyone recommend a good Buell dealership for me? The bike is a 04' XB12R with 1500 miles on it and a 5 year extended warranty. Are these warranties transferable? If I gave someone the VIN# could they check to make sure all recalls have been done or what service has been performed? Thanks | ||

Gainesville is a little far from Lake Worth.A little closer is Tampa H-D/Buell,they have a great Buell tech.Cataract is on the east coast of Fl.,maybe he knows of a dealer over that way | ||

He's way south of me, buuuuuut... Tressure Coast is a good dealer down there. No, I didn't buy a bike from them, but I have been to it and they seem alright there. I almost bought a bike from them, only problem was the distance and at the time I didn't have all my information together at the time. Can you tell me when you plan to be down here Dan? I see you live in MI. Maybe if it's a weekend when your down I could meet up with you and travel down there to look it over for you. | ||

Thats the thing I won't be down there. This is a deal im doing over the internet with myself and the owner. So far im pretty much going on the word of the seller. If the bike checks out at the dealer i'll just have the trucking company pick the bike up and ship it up here. I just want to verify the bikes in the condition he states its in. Currenty it has the buell race kit, and ram air intake cover on it but he has all the factory parts to return it back to stock. Cataract2 appreciate the offer though! He said he bought the bike from popano HD and had the biker serviced at Palm Beach HD. Anyone heard of any of these dealerships? | ||

Don't know much about the quality of the service dept. at Palm Beach Harley, but they're fine otherwise. Treasure Coast is a great dealer though. It's in Stuart, probably about 40-50 miles North of Palm Beach Harley. Pompano Harley is a HORRIBLE dealer! Cataract, He bought the bike to go on the Lakeland BRAG rides mainly. He lives in Jax and the bike is at my place in Orlando. He just doesn't use it enough to justify owning it. It is a 10/10 with all the extras. Anyone wanting a nice 12R this is the one. Frank | ||

Dan, let me know where it's at and I would be happy to check it out for you. I'm in Boynton, like 5-10 miles south of Lake Worth. I could at least give it a visual once-over for you and maybe have him start it up. Maybe even test ride it to make sure it wheelies OK.  Let me know.... Billy |
