Well today was the last ride in Chicago for me with winter approaching soon and temperatures dropping into the freezing mark. I look forward to continued reading on badweb to learn more about the bike I own. Thanks for all the input so far and something to look forward to when coming home and hitting the internet.

I always have the tank full, Battery Tender plugged in to the XB9R, heck with the global warming we can ride almost all year. Just avoid the salt.
I'm 85 or so miles from you, keep in touch for riding.

Last ride??? We've got salt all over the place here in Dubuque, went for a ride this afternoon and washed the 'Bolt off well when I got home. We got into the 40s today, great riding weather.
I ride to work when it's over 28 in the morning and not calling for snow or rain... It's only 12 miles or so each way, but I'm still riding...

i just rode around here (ames) yesterday. trying to teach my female friend how to ride while my xb is still banged up. she did fairly well for the first time on a street bike off of her 80 yamaha. just because i thought i was going to die doesnt mean she did bad, lol. even with the bike banged up i was so paranoid she was gona dump it even with me on the back helping. we will be in dubuque friday, sat, sun, i think for thanksgiving with her family. not sure what im going to do for the whole time though lol. might have to get a few people together next spring or something there and go for a ride.
