he has a PC but not installed and no motor work... yet its the 'fastest Harley around'. now that's just 'asome'. hahaaa! wtf is with the extended swingarm fad. looks like crap... oh, right its a drag bike. heh. what a shame. ah, well, to each his own. EDIT: the more i look at it the funnier it gets. i love how the stock belt guards are in their stock location. check out that chain slack! looks like small animals will get decapitated on your first run! hahaaa! poor XB. Looks like someone is trying to dump a project when they realized that they had no clue what they were doing. First thing I see is a highly unstable swingarm. I stopped looking after that. He'd be better off returning it to stock 'cept for the triple tree. He might then get $8,500 for it. For a drag bike though, you can get proven, reliable turn key 9 second bikes for $5000. www.dragbike.com is my friend. |

Notice the NOS bottle, I bet that is one of the reasons he is getting rid of it (probably beat the crap out of it). |

9s a few inches longer No jokes this time, I swear! But why? What is the advantage, other than drag racing and hill climbing? |

I would just like it for the looks.. no other reason really... which is why i havent really looked into it that much. i made a thread about it once a while back... but it seems to be more work then needed for jsut a few inches to make it look what i consider a bit better. My 2cents |

So the guy can't spell. Big deal dudes. That's a nicely put together yet simple XB. That swing arm and triple tree won't have been cheap. The air shifter looks to be well installed and again won't be cheap, and it's got a loooong chain drive conversion too. Man some of you guys remind me of the old boys in the Saab game when turbochargers came out in the late seventies. Many old timers would tell of how unreliable they were. Warnings of possible failures in miles to come - don't buy a turbo Saab would be the message.......... because they hadn't a freekin clue! Get your head out of the sand and move with the times. He's NOT selling a stock XB. That's the clue to save you buying spectacles! Rocket |

It's a deathtrap, swingarm failure on the street. PC not installed as it may not fit on most dyno's. I suppose you could take the aluminum sticks off the swingarm? When I was a kid we would saw the forks off old bicycles and slide them over a good set to make a "chopper". I still have a scar from those "innovative, head out of the sand ideas"...... |

Actually I wish my XB was shorter I like short wheelbase buells that's why they're special that custom xb on ebay it's horrible IMHO no matter the money the owner paid to build it. nonetheless if someone likes it...good for him. |

He states it's street legal, not that the seller is saying the BUYER has to ride it on the street with the long swing arm. So most dyno's, you're saying long drag bike chassis won't fit on them? WTF? That's a stretched XB and it's about as long as a 1985 GPZ1100. When I was a kid doing what you did to those bicycle forks - we welded ours together. You really shouldn't judge peoples skills by your own standards. Death trap maybe - if you built that XB like one of your push bike choppers. Rocket |

First what would make you think its a death trap swingarm failure on the street? Lack of knowledge probably! Spencer Cycle is very well respected for its swingarm work and have went on some real horsepower bikes! You should look at the Buells that are dragracing they all look similar to this they just dont make real pretty bikes set up for dragracing. |

And the XB doesnt look like it was built for a purpose? And what would neck work have anything to do with making it functional? |
