Author Message   No_rice Posted on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 02:20 am:        well after about roughly two months of my bike sitting there trashed, i finally scrounged up enough parts to atleast putt around on it and make sure mechanically its still ok. it looked like frankenbuell running around town though, lol. no frontend to speak of. just all the wiring tied up in a bundle so it was out of the way. bare subframe with the front seat on it and whats left of the tail light housing holding onto the bulb. had the front fender, lower fairing and whats left of the airbox cover still on it. funny thing was a guy i dont really even know came up and ACTUALLY KNEW IT WAS A BUELL and was interested in knowing about them. weird. nitrous bottles are still on it, and still functional ( come on now, you know i had to check, wouldnt you!) front end seems a little lighter for some reason to. hmmm.... lol. the other 03 9r i bought is supposed to be on its way here next week it sounds like so then i can really work on getting rid of my withdrawl.   Buellin_ri Posted on Saturday, November 12, 2005 - 09:05 am:        sounds sweet I got to get my a$$ in gear and get mine together.   Fullpower Posted on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 03:29 pm:        pictures???   No_rice Posted on Monday, November 14, 2005 - 05:10 pm:        ya, im tryn to get a dig cam to get some pics up. might end up just being some phone pics but i'll get something   No_rice Posted on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 - 03:56 pm:        well heres a pic atleast so u can see what it looks like for now   No_rice Posted on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 - 04:18 pm:          No_rice Posted on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 - 02:55 pm:        ya it doesnt look ALL that bad at the moment, but from my stand point it looks horriable, used to be so clean. my poor baby is disfigured for now, lol   Fullpower Posted on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 - 04:00 pm:        bike looks pretty good to me,would look even better without the chin spoiler. BTW, brake lever is only about twelve bucks.   No_rice Posted on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 - 04:15 pm:        thats not as bad a i thought for the lever. just got a new front line on the way for $6.00 didnt think that was to bad at all, it got pinched and leaks all over. i got some rims from another badweb member and atleast got the back one on so i could play around alittle. back was completely shot, bent cracked. front is just has a good bend in the lip but ill get that changed soon.
