Ok, I searched and searched, but all I found was people replacing the front fender on a Uly. I want a Uly front fender on my CityX (I think).
Anyone?

uly front cityx front
Doesn't appear to be fork/rake angle ride-height dimensional/clearance issues.
Will probably need to figure how to bolt the top fender to your cityx lower tree (if possible), hopefully the lower fender bolt locations are the same.
American Sport Bike and/or Trojan-Horse may have the answer..
Kinda like to see someone rig the Uly windscreen onto a lightning fairing.

I'm one of those who removed the stock Uly fender. I don't think it should be a problem to retrofit this to another XB. I used the XB12Ss to determine if I could do this. If the triple tree on the City X is the same as the 12, the bolt holes should line right up. You will just have to remove the headlight bracket. The Uly fender provides the support. There is a hole under the Uly fender for the support bolt. If you need any measurements let me know.

Hey John,
Just read your comment about the Uly windscreen on an S. A friend and I looked into it last Saturday. Didn't think it would be as clean as we expected (mounting points are wider than the S fairing) and started machining some parts to make an add-on the the stocker. Fabricated the clear screen out of Lexan and the mounts out of aluminum. When the proper hardware arrives I'll post a picture.

fyi, w/Al's help (American Sport Bike) looked into retrofitting just the Uly topdash, fairing+screen to a lightning. He noted the Uly's front fender is the headlight adjustment bracket, not so on the lightning - lower triple clamps not the same. SO need to fabricate a little bracket for that. Also may need a security torx bit.

If it will help sell parts, I don't think it will be a problem. Anyway, you could always PM me...

Thanks for the list, didn't know the lower front fender came in 3 parts. Just looked again, I'll be damned, never noticed that.

Bikertrash05, you've got mail..
yeah, 3 section lower fender (explains all the screws/washers in the parts list lol). fyi, over on the Big, Bad & Dirty (BadWeB Adventure Board) someone asked what kind of material the ulysses front fender is made of - its not like the lightning - its 'textured plastic'.
