I think that my Jardine might need repacked. Can anyone tell me what it sounds like when it is time to repack? When I'm using my engine to deccel it sounds like something is rattling. I really don't know how to explain the sound. It's similar to the way a Harley with drag pipes sounds when you let off the throttle. It scared the crap out of me the first time I noticed it, but the bike feels fine. That is why I'm thinking my pipe needs to be repacked. Can anyone be of service here? Thanks!

Hey Olinxb, I just repacked my can last week! The sound you are probably hearing is the baffle tube, stick your fingers in there and see if its loose- when its cold of course. Mine was loose and could move it in and out about1/4 inch. My packing was not that bad but was hard and had lots of soot and burnt oil, and the bottom was gone nothing. Just drill out the rivets and pull the can apart, repack and rivet it back together. It was starting to pop a lot on decel too, it should only take like 30 minutes if you take your time.
