What exactly does the race ECM do? And what is a TFI for/what does it do?

race ecm adds fuel everywhere through out the rev range....might have a slightly more aggresive ignition map,but still not sure on that one...tfi is a box that is wired into the injector loom and can only add fuel, but is adjustable for different areas of the rev range, reccomended for the standard ecm only, but i run one with the race ecm with no problems

Rigga, thanks for the response, what is the general recommendation as far as aftermarket exhausts to use with race ecm or tfi or both?.....full exhaust or slipon?

can of worms that one.... there are many choices for the xb,mainly just slip on silencers, jardine,D+D,drummer, latus and many more, few full systems available, although micron just released a system with serpent headers which might be a good buy....depends on how you ride really, some are better higher up the rev range, and some lower down, for that reason its hard to reccomend a pipe really.do a search there is loads of opinions on here
