I have read many of the discussions about tires here on the board in search of some guidance, but don't see anything that addresses my particular concerns. I am a large individual ~275lbs and the stock Dunlops on my XB12R are close to shot. I am considering the Scorpion Syncs when it is time to replace. Do particular tires handle fat boys better than others?

Also, the roads in my area of central Texas suck. That is one of the reasons I am leaning toward the Scorps, am I looking in the right direction?

I weigh 210 and I am running Scorpion Syncs on my XB9S. I got mine from my local Harley dealer. My dealership (Southside Harley in VA Beach) gives 15% discount on all Buell parts since I bought my Buell from them. The Syncs are OE on the CityX and therefore a stocking item. And the best part of all, at this dealership, if you buy the tires from them, they mount and balance them for free.

I have been very happy with mine so far. I have about 7k miles on them and expect to get another 3k or so miles more. I can't speak for any other tires other than the Syncs and the original 207s.
