I am looking for feedback from those that have tried or are using these tires on their XB. I have seen lots of great blurbs from various sources on them but figured I would check here for input. Thanks.

Yes, I have them on my XB9R and am very pleased with them. I have about 3500 on them now and they still look really good. They have excellent grip(better than the Dunlops that came on it and had to be replaced before 2ooo miles) also they eliminated the frontend shakes the bike would get if you took your hands off the bars at almost any speed. I have Avon's on both my bikes and highly recommend them, and I don't baby them( I live 6 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and know every corner up there)............Charlie

They are great tires. I have used Avons for years and have always been pleased with them.

I have used them on my XB9S. Excellent wear but I did not feel confident in the corners on them. I have since switched to Michelin Pilot Road on the front and it the bike is much better in the corners now. I still like the Avon's for their mileage though. The Michelin's seem to be wearing just as well and have better wet weather stability.

I haven't used them on my XB, but I'm on my 3rd set on my FJR1300. My FJR is much heavier and more torque/hp and they stand up very well to touring duties.

I get about 7-8K on a rear, and have taken a front to 16K (that was way too many).

I had about 8,500 on my last rear tire and 10,000 on my front tire.

Great tires, last forever, grippy enough to touch pegs.
