Has anyone switched the front sprocket from the stock 27T to a 29T? What does it do to the speedo? How much more MPH do you get from each gear? Does it affect acceleration much?

Just a thought - if you did this, you would have to have a longer belt to Accommodate the larger gear, otherwise it might be way to tight...never tried this but interesting.

i was thinking of doing this too. I talked to daveS about it. He said Trojan Horse has the conversion, however, their kit changes both the front and the rear sprockets ($800), so that the belt circumference does not change. He said it affects therpm/vs/ speed by maybe 10%.

$800 ouch. I already have the front one, it came off my S2t.
