Very Interesting... Where did you get the body work??? The little covers around the headlights, did you just paint the stock ones red or do something else???
I'm just guessing that with the bodywork on you bet less heat as you're riding it???

with the force exhaust, my right leg stays kinda warm. The body work came from Hals PA. There are actually no covers around the headlight, I got the spots painted around the headlights.

What did you use to tune the Force pipe? PCIII or TFI?

I have the force and pc3, Thanks Johnk3.

I ended up putting it on the dyno and changing it a little. I ended up going to Colorado once I got the pipe from you. Well I guess the 4k miles and the vibration caused the pipe to wear a little and cause a exhaust leak. If that would have happen all I would have to done was tweak what you had a little. I will order another header from force and replace it though. How you like that Drummer.

I have the rear sets on cause sometimes I do ride chics kinda in the spur of the moment, and also people on here said it kinda acts like a slider, After wrecking my bike I noticed that it really did help out.

Did you have to fabricate the mounts for those frame sliders? Did I miss the thread that talked about that? Looks good BTW!

www.halspa.com sells the weld on frame sliders cost was 159.95 I think. Must be welded onto the frame, so the labor involved was a big thing.

My force leaks a little too. The problem with mine is that the slots in the "muffler" are too long.

I am glad to see someone has that body kit. I was thinking of ordering one, but not too soon. Do you have any pictures of the mounting process? Did you relocate the stock oil cooler or upgrade to the racing one? Any and all information you can pass along would greatly help me make the decision to buy the body.

you know I love the kit, Looks awesome but mounting was kind of a pain in the a**. I ride my bike and the kit is more designed for racing, but I made some brackets to help support the bottom since it is designed to hang down. When I first got it the belt tensioner rubbed and the front wheel rubbed on one side, Just little things but overall I am happy in the end. I havent upgraded the oil cooler YET but I am in the process of doing that. Saving some funds. I now have over 10k miles with the body kit and stock oil cooler and in Louisiana bike has never over heated. I will upgrade just for a piece of mind and also I am going to build a race bike out of my bike. If I was you I would order the mounting brackets when you buy the body kit and just make the ones for the body roll pan. I just took some flat bar(alum) to push out my bottom roll pan to keep it away from my tensioner pulley in the back and from the oil cooler bracket to push it out in the front so my tire wont rub. I will try to get some pics up for you today.

If you will do the muonting yourself its worth it, If you will get someone to mount it for you it might be a little pricey. I can take my whole body kit of in 5 mins. The bottom is 6 zues fasteners and the top is 4 zues fasteners, the 4 bolts for the mirrors and the 2 screws for the windscreen.

I read something about the body mounting to the sliders. It would seem without those sliders the body would be very flimsy. I guess just a few more fabbed mounts. I really like that slider setup, I just don't want to take the frame off and take it somewhere to have them welded on. Too much time and money right now. Maybe when it is too cold for me to ride this winter I can get the sliders...

When I ordered the fairing kit the guy at Hals told me to that people not putting the sliders on are ordering a extra set of brackets and using 2 sets on the top brackets to work.

Is there a noticeable difference in felt wind at speed over the stock firebolt fairing? I really like the looks of the full body. I actually have a lightning that I was considering swapping over to Firebolt front end just to get the full body. I already have the stuff on order to change to the firebolt tail setup.

There are others running the full body here too. I have mine and I do not have the Hal's sliders (neither does my brother diablomichael) On our street bikes. The race bike has the sliders, but does not use them as mount points. I don't have pics of Michael's street bike handy, but it's basically the same. The belly pans are cut a little differently on each bike because of our exhausts. All of the hal's belly pans have to be cut for street bikes because of the kickstand, and for the exhaust outlets in most cases. Not a concern unless you want to go racing and the belly pan has to hold liquid. If anyone has more questions I can take pics of mounts etc. and email them to you. Here is my bike. (outdated pic)

I would like as many pictures as you could get of the mounting. What all was included with the body kit. It seems that the price is fairly high for just a front fairing. I have seen the fiberglass fairings and belly pans (racing version with no headlight holes) for much cheaper. I could sure cut some holes for headlights to save a couple hundred dollars.
