Although I have an XB12, I use an XB9 FM (got it cheap) for routine servicing.

Does anyone know the purpose of the cable-and-pulley device built into the top of the XB12 air box cover ? The pix in the XB9 FM don't show it.

That's the servo that runs the exhaust valve.
