Where is a good place in the US to order the Rizoma billet rear set footrest setup? I have only seen them on Trojan's site, but with the shipping and exchange rate, I thought I might be able to get a better deal in the states. If not what would I be looking at for a total with shipping in USD from Trojan?

Does someone have this or other rearsets that they recommend? I want something slightly lower and further to the back of the bike. I sometimes feel a little cramped with the stock setup.

look at american sportbike's site they have a nice set but it runs in the $600.00 range

Buyer beware. I have bought a set and wasn't to happy when the arm that holds the foot peg and shifter binded and hit my primary case. I and Stone Mountain H-D tried for 5 months to get in touch with the U.S rep, which is in Florida. We left many mess. and E-mails and not one returned phone call or E-mail. I have talked to a few other people and it seems like the easy to buy but hard, very hard, impossible to get any customer service. I machined them down to fix the problem and sold them to a cool Bueller for almost half the price. They retail for 601.00 and With a discount I paid 560.00 plus tax. I sold them for 350.00 because I tried to get my money back from Rizoma and the wouldn't even call the dealership where I had bought them from. The dealership still have a set they can't and won't sell because of the 'P_SS POOR PRODUCT' that cost 601.00 and damages your bike. The cost of the primary is about 225.00 and gasket was 15.99 and labor from the dealership is about 90.00 thats a lot of damage from a bolt on part. $$$$325.00 plus dollars is a lot of money in damages from a 601.00 part. As you can see I lost a lot of money, do the math. Ouch!!! You can find other products that don't cost as much and will be able to get much better service. Sato Racing, Woodcraft, etc. Attack Racing should have something soon I heard. I will say the Rizoma looks nice I just woun't do biz' with a company that will sell a p-ss poor product that bolts on and damages your bike, with no customer service and the REP' that won't return phone calls or even E-mails. It was quite disappointment!!!!! AS you can see. I repeat myself so you and anyone will be aware before you buy from that company. I also do the same at any bike show and tell all vendors to watch out.

Thanks for the info Shred. I wasn't really after the looks of them, they just seem like the only ones I have seen that will put the pegs in the area I want them. I actually don't even like the look of them. I guess it would be harder to get good customer service for stuff made overseas that hasn't setup a good network here in the states.

The ones American Sportbike sells look nice, but I am not sure they will give me the legroom I am looking for. They too are over $600. I guess I am just going to have to find someone with a machine shop to build me what I really want.

I get a good price from my local Buell dealer on Buell parts, but they don't stock much and don't really seem to want to get any non-Buell performance parts.

Good luck, Check with Attack Perf. the make nice parts. I heard they were looking at the making some aftermarket Buell parts like Rearsets and Triple clamps.

I might fork out some pretty pennies for a good set of rearsets if they put the peg position near where the "S" pegs are, and included ball bearing shifter and brake levers.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that the available pieces place the pegs near the stock "R" location or worse.

I have been riding with the passenger pegs at the rider position(dropped bike, broke peg) on my "S" and my knees are hating me for it.(new peg on the way)

If y'all have suggestions, post up!!

I did not realize that the S and the R have the foot pegs in different locations. If that is the case, which ones are farther back? That may be just enough to help out.

Cdrlmr, to the best of my knowledge the S and R footpeg mounts are the same, but the pegs themselves are different--the S pegs have a "step" in them that drops them down about 1", while the R pegs are straight and therefore actually sit higher (probably not what you're looking for).

Glitch and I have swapped foot pegs. We put his S' pegs on my R' If you have an R' and long legs, the S' pegs are a cheap way to help give you some leg room. It doesn't sound like much but it is. I have an extra set of S' pegs just for long trips. Gotta go, good luck.

I am in luck then since I have the S. I am in the process of getting all the parts I need to put the R fairing and tail on my S. I guess the rearset will wait until that is done.
